Alpe di Siusi

The Alpe di Siusi is with 56 km² the largest high altitude Alpine meadow in Europe and each year attracts numerous tourists due to its overwhelming landscape and stunning surroundings. The Alpe di Siusi is located right in the middle of the Dolomites and near the villages Kastelruth, Seis, Völs am Schlern and Tiers am Rosengarten. In summer you can hike through the idyllic nature, explore the Alpe di Siusi on the mountain bike or climb steep crags. Whereas in winter you can engage in activities like skiing or snowboarding on countless pistes, participate in ski tours, go cross-country skiing or speed down the mountain on a sled.

Moreover, it is the ideal destination to relax, experience unforgettable moments and to combine sport activities with pleasure. From the Pitschlmann farm, the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi Cableway can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. There is also a regular bus service from Völs to the Cableway and back.



How to arrive

From the North

Leave the motorway at the exit „Klausen/Chiusa“ and continue towards Bolzano. Arrived in Ponte Gardena, turn left following the signs to Castelrotto, Siusi and finally to Fiè allo Sciliar.

From the South

Leave the motorway at the exit „Bozen Nord/Bolzano Nord“ and continue towards Brennero. Arrived in Prato Isarco, drive through the tunnel in the direction of Fiè allo Sciliar.
Arrived in Fiè allo Sciliar, follow the signs to the centre of the village, continue towards the sports fields (“Sportplatz/Peterbühl”) and pass the football field. After about one minute turn left at the next fork … you have arrived!
