Hiking in the Dolomites

Due to the fantastic position of the Pitschlmann farm near the Alpe di Siusi, you can set off on a hike in the middle of the green mountain world. A comfortable and family-friendly hiking route leads you to our mountain hut, the Tuffalm. From the Pitschlmann farm, the Tuff Alm can be reached by foot in about 1.5 hours, passing the beautiful lake “Völser Weiher”. Having reached the Tuff Alm you can taste delicious South Tyrolean dishes like Speck platter, dumplings, soups and much more. And if you still have plenty of time and want more, you can head out to even more impressive hiking destinations.

Furthermore, it is possible to take the bus from the town centre of Völs am Schlern to the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi Cableway. Hiking is a fantastic leisure time activity to keep fit but also to discover and experience South Tyrol’s diverse nature and its history at first hand, whether you go alone, with friends or the whole family. Moreover, it is an experience for all age groups, which shouldn’t be missed in this idyllic surrounding!
