Swimming at the Völser Weiher

The Völser Weiher is one of the most beautiful bathing and mountain lakes in South Tyrol and an absolute must for all swimming lovers. Located at the food of the Schlern mountain the lake guarantees a splendid panorama as well as outstanding water quality and an undamaged ecosystem. Surrounded by a picturesque atmosphere you can spend many hours on the lake shore, forget the daily worries and immerse yourself in the rural idyll. But the Völser Weiher is also an ideal bathing pond for the whole family. Children can play on the green and grassy shore and can splash around in the shallower areas of the lake.

From the middle/end of June, the water is normally warm enough for swimming and offers a cool refreshing on hot summer days. And if that’s not enough variety for you, you can also rent a boat and explore the lake. From the Pitschlmann farm, the lake can be reached by foot in about 45 minutes.
